You care about keeping your kids safeSo do we

Your baby crawls the length of the hallway. Your toddler puts everything in their mouth. Treating a house with kids in it isn't the same job as treating an empty one — so we don't run it like one.

An Arizona back yard with artificial turf, pavers, and a block wall — a toddler's water table and slide in the foreground, a parent sitting with a baby in the shade.

What we do differently in a house with kids

Same visit, same price. The difference is what your technician does before the sprayer ever comes off the truck.

Toys and cups move first

Toys, sippy cups, pacifiers, play mats, high chairs, patio toys, and sandbox lids get moved clear of the treatment area before anything is applied — and put back when the visit is done. Nothing gets treated over the top of something that ends up in a kid's mouth.

Applied to the label, every time

We use products labeled for residential use, applied strictly to label directions, and we observe the label dry time before anyone goes back into a treated area. TODO(Heritage): confirm the specific products and the re-entry window you want published here.

Placed out of reach of small hands

Rodent bait goes in tamper-resistant stations, never loose in a garage or along a fence line. Interior work is a targeted crack-and-crevice application — baseboards, under appliances, entry points — not a broadcast spray across the floor your baby crawls on.

Technicians trained for the kid part of the job

Gates and pool gates latched behind them, a text before we arrive so a nap isn't a surprise, and a clear answer on when the play set is back in service. TODO(Heritage): confirm your technician onboarding and continuing-education specifics so this describes your real program.

We ask before we start

Tell us where the kids sleep, crawl, and eat, and anything your pediatrician has flagged — a new baby, an asthma diagnosis, a kid who takes the long way through every flowerbed. If a treatment is a bad idea at your property that day, we skip it and tell you why.

Fewer pests means fewer treatments

Keeping pressure down with a recurring exterior barrier is what keeps us from needing to treat inside, where your kids actually live. A plan that holds beats a heavy interior treatment after an infestation every time.

A pest-free house is a safer house for your kids

Keeping pests out isn't the opposite of keeping your kids safe — it's most of how you do it. What's living in your block wall is a bigger risk to a five-year-old than a treatment applied to the label.

  • Bark scorpions

Arizona's bark scorpion is the sting that actually matters, and small children react the worst to it — poison centers here treat a sting in a young child as urgent, and it's the reason antivenom exists for this species. They hunt at night, climb walls, and end up in shoes, towels, and toy bins.

  • Cockroaches

Cockroach allergen is one of the best-documented indoor asthma triggers in children. It settles into dust and stays there after the roaches are gone, which is why keeping them out of the house year-round matters more than knocking down one flare-up.

    Cockroach control

  • Rodents

Roof rats and mice contaminate food, counters, and pantry packaging with what they track through, and they chew wiring and insulation on the way in. A crawling baby shares the same floor those runways cross.

    Rodent control

  • Bees, wasps, and spiders

A colony in a wall void or a low eave near a play area is a hazard a kid can't judge, and black widows favor exactly the sheltered low spots kids reach into — pot bases, patio furniture, the underside of a block wall cap. Live colonies get removed; webs get swept on every visit.

We have kids too. And dogs. And a last name on the truck.

Heritage is third-generation owned and operated. The people deciding what goes on your property are the people who grew up in this business, and we live in the neighborhoods we service — same block walls, same monsoon season, same scorpions coming up out of the same landscaping.

That's the whole reason the checklist above exists. It isn't a policy written in a corporate office three states away — it's what we want done at our own houses, where our own kids are.

TODO(Heritage): replace this paragraph with the real family story — who started the company and when, who runs it now, and how many kids/pets are actually in the picture. Also reconcile the founding year in src/data/business.ts with the third-generation claim.

  • Third generation, family owned and operated
  • Locally owned — we live in the areas we service
  • Licensed and insured in Arizona — TODO(Heritage): add license number
  • 10% lifetime discount for veterans, first responders, and teachers
